Dr. M Sujithra is currently with the Faculty of Computing -Data Science Department as an Assistant Professor at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India. Joined CIT in the year 2005, prior to joining CIT, she worked in V.L.B Janakiammal College of Arts and Science for 2 years. She has more than 18 years of teaching experience and her primary research interests includes Information Security, Maching Learning, Cloud Computing, Network Security, Mobile Application Development etc. She has published 3 books and several papers in machine learning, cloud computing and data security in various national and international journals and conferences. She also supervising students towards their projects in various topics in security. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with Distinction in 2000, has gained her Master of Computer Applications Degree with University Rank in 2003 and pursued her M.Phil. in Computer Science in 2010 from Bharathiyar University. She obtained her Doctoral Degree from Avinashilingam University in the field of Mobile Device and Cloud Data Security in 2017 entitled “A Comprehensive Approach to Mobile Device and Data Security using Iris Authentication, Malware Detection, Secured Cloud Storage and Retrieval”. She Published a Patent in the topic Facial Emotion Recognition and Detection in Python using Deep Learning.
